Keegan was born in upstate New York. She graduated from The State University of New York at Oswego, and earned her B.A. in zoology with a minor in forensic science. Following graduation, Keegan moved to Orlando, FL. She worked part time on the safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and at SeaWorld as a husbandry assistant with the sealions.
Keegan started her journey with NEI in January of 2021 as a seasonal trainer and fell in love with both the birds and staff. It was then that she decided that this is where she wanted to build her career. You can find Keegan performing at shows with the Winged Encounters team. She is looking forward to learning and growing with other trainers within NEI.
